# Scanner (product lookup)

Some Sarah accounts include a **scanner token** so approved apps or devices can **look up products** (for example by barcode) without logging into the full admin.

## Where to enable it

1. Log in to Sarah.  
2. Open **Settings > Integrations** (or the section your workspace uses for scanner access).  
3. Create or copy the **scanner token** and treat it like a **password**.

## Important

- Anyone with the token can query product information tied to your company—**do not** publish it in apps stores, GitHub, or support tickets visible to others.
- If a token leaks, **revoke and regenerate** it in Sarah.
- This public help center does **not** document HTTP paths, query parameters, or response JSON so the feature cannot be abused from documentation alone.
