# Contacts

The **Contacts** module works as a mini CRM within Sarah.
Here you manage all information about your **customers**, **suppliers**, and other types of contacts.

On the **Pro plan** you also get the [CRM Pipeline](/docs/contacts/pipeline): a kanban opportunity funnel with stages, amount, probability, and interactions.

## Contact types

Each contact can have a type:

- **Customer**: people or companies you sell to.
- **Supplier**: those who sell you products or services.
- **Lead**: potential customers not yet confirmed.
- **Other**: any other type of relevant contact (e.g., partners, associates, etc.).

This allows you to quickly segment and filter your contact database.

## Information stored in a contact

Among other fields, each record can include:

- Personal or company data (name, legal name).
- Document / **CUIT** or identification number.
- Phone, email, and address.
- City, state, and country.
- Internal notes and additional metadata.

Additionally, each contact is linked to:

- **Sales** made to that customer.
- **Payments** and balances (if you work with accounts receivable).
- **Interactions** (e.g., WhatsApp messages, campaigns, etc.).

## Basic flow

1. Enter the **Contacts** module.
2. Search by name, document, email, or phone.
3. Create new contacts or edit existing ones.
4. Associate contacts to sales from POS or other modules.

In the following sections you'll find specific details for:

- **Customers** (`customers.md`).
- **Suppliers** (`providers.md`).
- **Internal users and roles** (`users.md`).
- **Invitations and system access** (`invitations.md`).
