# Users and Roles

In addition to customers and suppliers, Sarah allows you to register **internal users**:
people on your team who access the system (salespeople, cashiers, administrators, etc.).

## Create a user

1. Go to the **Users** module from the main menu.
2. Click **"New user"**.
3. Complete:
   - First and last name.
   - Email (used for access).
   - Role or profile (e.g., Administrator, Salesperson, Cashier).
4. Send the invitation so the person can set their password and access.

## Roles and permissions

Roles allow you to control what each user can do within the platform:

- **Administrator**: full access to configuration, users, billing, and reports.
- **Salesperson / Cashier**: focused on sales and cash.
- **Guest / read-only**: limited access only to certain reports or views.

Review the **Security** section to see details of each available permission.

## Relationship with other areas

Users connect with:

- **Cash registers and shifts**: who opened/closed the cash register and recorded sales.
- **Inventory movements**: who performed receiving, transfers, or adjustments.
- **Customer interactions**: who sent messages or created campaigns.

Keeping users updated and roles well defined is key for traceability and security of your operation.
