# Inventory Movement History

**Movement history** allows you to see everything that has happened with your products' stock:

- Entries (receiving, positive adjustments).
- Exits (sales, returns, negative adjustments).
- Transfers between warehouses.

## Access history

1. Go to the **Inventory** module.
2. Select the **"Movements"** option or similar.
3. Use filters for:
   - Date range.
   - Product.
   - Warehouse.
   - Movement type (entry/exit/transfer).

## Information available per movement

Each record usually includes:

- Date and time.
- Movement type (receiving, sale, return, transfer, adjustment).
- Product and quantity.
- Origin and destination warehouse (if applicable).
- User who executed the action.
- Reference to associated document (sale, invoice, etc.).

## Use in audits

History is key for:

- Investigating stock discrepancies.
- Validating that receiving and sales were recorded correctly.
- Reviewing who made each movement and when.

For periodic audits:

1. Export history to CSV/Excel (if the option is available).
2. Compare with physical counts or external systems.
3. Correct discrepancies through documented **stock adjustments**.
