Nomenclature
Use consistent and descriptive names:
✅ Good examples:
- "Wholesale -15%"
- "Online Discount"
- "VIP Premium"
❌ Avoid:
- "List 1"
- "New list"
- Generic names without context
Organization
Create lists with clear purposes:
- One list per customer type (wholesale, retail, VIP)
- One list per channel (POS, online)
- Temporary lists for specific events
Testing
Before using a list in production:
- Create a test sale with a test customer
- Verify prices to ensure adjustment is correct
- Review totals to confirm calculations are accurate
Integration with Other Modules
Promotions
Price lists are applied before promotions:
- Price list is applied (adjusts base price)
- Promotions are applied (on already adjusted price)
POS
At point of sale:
- If you select a customer with assigned list, prices update automatically
- You can manually change the active list if necessary
- Displayed prices reflect the active list
