Product Management in Store

Learn how to manage which products appear in your online store.

Products that appear in your online store come directly from your inventory. This guide explains how to control which products are shown and how they're organized.

Automatic Synchronization

Products in the store sync automatically with your inventory:

  • Enabled products (enable: true) appear in the store
  • Disabled products (enable: false) don't appear
  • Updated stock reflects in real time
  • Updated prices are shown automatically

Enable/Disable Products

From Inventory Module

  1. Go to Inventory > Products
  2. Search for the product you want to enable/disable
  3. Open edit form
  4. Check or uncheck "Enabled" (enable)
  5. Save changes

Result:

  • If enabled → Appears in store
  • If disabled → Doesn't appear in store

Bulk Enablement

If you need to enable/disable many products:

  1. Export your product list (if available)
  2. Modify enable field in file
  3. Import updated file

Organization by Categories

Categories in Store

Your inventory categories appear automatically in the store:

  • Navigation: Categories appear in menu
  • Filtering: Customers can filter by category
  • Organization: Products are grouped by category

Manage Categories

  1. Go to Inventory > Categories
  2. Create, edit, or delete categories
  3. Changes automatically reflect in store

Recommendation: Use clear and descriptive names for categories.

Prices in Store

Base Price

By default, the store shows the product's base price.

Price Lists

You can configure which price list to use in the store:

  1. Go to Settings > Online Store
  2. Select a Price List
  3. Save changes

Result:

  • All products in store will show prices according to selected list
  • If no list selected, base prices are used

Hide Prices

You can hide prices in the store:

  1. Go to Settings > Online Store
  2. Check "Hide Prices"
  3. Save changes

When to use:

  • B2B businesses that require inquiry
  • Products with variable prices
  • Specific marketing strategies

Stock and Availability

Show Stock

Stock is automatically verified:

  • If there's stock → Product is available
  • If no stock → Depends on your configuration

Sell without Stock

You can allow selling products without stock:

  1. Go to Settings > Online Store
  2. Check "Sell without Stock"
  3. Save changes

When to use:

  • Products on demand
  • Special orders
  • Products manufactured on the spot

Warning: If you allow selling without stock, ensure you have a process to fulfill orders.

Search and Filtering

Customers can search products by:

  • Name: Search by product name
  • SKU: Search by SKU code
  • Barcode: If configured

Filtering

Customers can filter by:

  • Category: View products from a specific category
  • Price list: If multiple lists are available

Product Images

Images in Store

Product images come from inventory:

  • Main image: Product's first image
  • Additional images: If product has multiple images

Recommendations

  • Quality: Use good quality images
  • Size: Optimize images for web
  • Format: JPG or PNG
  • Background: Consider neutral or transparent backgrounds

Descriptions

Product Description

Product description in inventory appears in store:

  • Short description: Appears in product list
  • Full description: Appears on product page

Recommendation: Write clear and attractive descriptions that help sell.

Best Practices

Organization

  • Use categories to organize products
  • Clear names for products and categories
  • Unique SKUs to facilitate searches

Images

  • Multiple angles when possible
  • Professional quality or at least clear
  • Consistency in style and background

Prices

  • Updated prices regularly
  • Price lists for segmentation
  • Transparency in prices (unless you have reason to hide them)

Stock

  • Update stock regularly
  • Configure correctly if you allow selling without stock
  • Monitor products with low stock

Troubleshooting

Product Doesn't Appear in Store

Possible causes:

  • Product is disabled (enable: false)
  • No stock and not configured to sell without stock
  • Configuration error

Solution:

  1. Verify product is enabled
  2. Review stock configuration
  3. Verify product has price

Incorrect Price

Possible causes:

  • Incorrect price list selected
  • Product base price incorrect
  • List configuration error

Solution:

  1. Verify product base price
  2. Review which price list is selected
  3. Confirm list configuration
