Account and Company Setup

Configure your account, company, users, and warehouses to leave Sarah ready to operate.

This guide expands the basic installation steps so you leave Sarah ready according to your business reality.

1. Account data

From the user menu (top right):

  • Review your name and email.
  • Activate security options like two-factor authentication if available.
  • Configure preferred language of the interface, if your account supports it.

2. Company profile

In the company configuration module:

  1. Complete fiscal data:
    • Legal name.
    • Tax ID (CUIT) / fiscal identification.
    • Tax condition or equivalent organization.
  2. Define:
    • Fiscal and commercial address.
    • Contact phone and email.
  3. Configure:
    • Main currency.
    • Time zone.

This data will be used in your receipts and reports.

3. Warehouses and stock points

If you manage stock:

  1. Create at least one main warehouse.
  2. If you have more than one branch or warehouse, create a warehouse per location.
  3. Define which warehouses will be used:
    • In POS.
    • In online store (if applicable).

4. Users and permissions

In the Users module:

  1. Invite people who will work with Sarah (cashiers, administrators, partners).
  2. For each user define:
    • Main role (for example, Cashier, Administrator, Owner).
    • Specific permissions: open/close cash register, view reports, modify prices, etc.
  3. Review periodically:
    • Inactive users.
    • Accesses that should no longer have sensitive permissions.

5. POS preferences

From POS configuration you can adjust:

  • Grid or list view.
  • Cart behavior.
  • Ticket format and printing.
  • Keyboard shortcuts usage.

6. Basic integrations

According to your business, it may be useful to configure:

  • Payment methods (for example, MercadoPago).
  • Automation integrations like Make/Zapier.
  • Online sales channels and shipping.

7. Final checklist before operating

Before starting to sell only with Sarah, review:

  • Company configured with correct fiscal data.
  • At least one warehouse created.
  • Main users invited and with appropriate permissions.
  • Key products loaded.
  • POS tested with a test sale.
  • (Optional) Critical integrations configured.

With this checklist complete, your account and company will be ready to operate daily in Sarah.
