Customers

How to manage customers, purchase history, and segmentation in Sarah.

Last updated: 2025-01-26

Customers are the heart of your commercial operation.
In Sarah you can store their data, view their purchase history, and apply specific commercial conditions.

Create a new customer

You can create customers from:

  • The Contacts module.
  • POS, when associating a buyer to a sale.
  • Public forms or integrations (according to configuration).

Recommended fields:

  • Name / legal name.
  • Document / Tax ID (CUIT).
  • Phone and email.
  • Address and city.
  • Customer type (retail, wholesale, etc.).

Purchase history

Each time you record a sale associated with a customer:

  • The operation is linked to that contact.
  • You can consult the purchase history, with dates, amounts, and issued receipts.

This allows you to:

  • Identify your best customers.
  • Detect periods of inactivity.
  • Offer promotions or special conditions.

Price lists and commercial conditions

From the Contacts or Price Lists module you can:

  • Assign a default price list to each customer.
  • Establish special conditions (payment terms, discounts, etc.).

When using POS:

  • The system will automatically apply the price list configured for that customer.
